Digital Storytelling LogoSeason 3: Inside Witt: Our People, Our Stories

What makes 果冻传媒 unique?  Is it the buildings on campus: Hollenbeck, Blair, Reci?  The labs in Science, Chakeres Theatre, the HWA, Thomas Library, or the Steemer? What about the Post or the CDR?  Or distinctive landmarks like the Hollow, the Kissing Bridge or the Seal?

Maybe it鈥檚 not the structures on campus that constitute 果冻传媒, but the people who work and live at the university: the students who spend memorable years on campus, making their mark. Or the faculty and staff who remain long after most students are gone, providing continuity between one group of graduates and the next. Or, perhaps what makes a university is not tangible at all but is rather found in the conversations between people鈥攑rofessors and students, coaches and athletes, staff and student workers, roommates and RAs, teammates and captains鈥攖hat somehow magically create and sustain what we think of as 果冻传媒.

These were the questions at the forefront of the minds of students in the Fall 2024 CMDM 220 Podcasting: Digital Storytelling class. As students set out to find such stories and bring them to life for listeners, they sought to do more than tell the stories that we already know. They wanted to turn Witt inside out to discover the underpinnings of the essence of 果冻传媒.

The result is Inside Witt: Our People, Our Stories, a 7-part series that brings to life dimensions of 果冻传媒 that you may not have considered before. Have a listen and enjoy! We hope it will inspire you to capture your own stories of life at 果冻传媒.
